  • Attraction Marketing Lesson #8 – Marketing Pied Piper: Call to Action

Marketing Pied Piper: Call to Action

A common mistake in marketing is failing to include a clear call to action in your materials. This applies to both online and offline efforts. Once you’ve captured your customers’ attention, the next step is to guide them toward taking action.

Whether it’s clicking a link, making a purchase, calling a number, sending an inquiry, or visiting your location, you need to encourage them to act. Of course, getting them to “buy” is the ultimate goal.

Earlier, we touched on the blending of marketing, public relations, and customer service into one cohesive strategy. With tools like website links, you can promote a product, simplify navigation, and guide customers toward a purchase—all in one seamless experience. Think of it as saying, “Click here! Follow me!”

A call to action works much like the Pied Piper in the old story. Remember him? He played a lively tune on his flute, and people lined up to follow him wherever he went. The Pied Piper had Law of Attraction principles down to a science—he created something upbeat and irresistible, and people couldn’t help but follow.

Your calls to action should work the same way, drawing people in and leading them directly to your products or services. Whether you’re asking them to click, listen, attend, visit, or send, you’re guiding them on a journey.

There’s also a science behind effective calls to action. Psychologists, social scientists, and marketing experts have studied consumer behavior and developed best practices. The Law of Attraction reminds us to focus on what we want to achieve, and in marketing, this means creating clear, focused calls to action that inspire our customers to take the next step.

  • Attraction Marketing Lesson #7 – Make Your Brand Attractive

    Make Your Brand Attractive

The Law of Attraction in marketing emphasizes emotions, feelings, and generating positive reactions from customers. One of the most powerful tools for drawing customers to your business is branding. In fact, once you understand the essence of branding, you might think it was tailor-made for the Law of Attraction! So, what exactly is branding? Think Disney. Think FedEx. Think impact!

A brand is more than just a logo or a name—it’s an image, a feeling, and an identity that sets your business (or even you) apart in the marketplace. That image can be positive or negative. For instance, a negative brand might evoke memories of Wall Street during the recession or Lehman Brothers’ collapse. A poor brand creates negative emotions and distrust.

But even if you’re a solo entrepreneur or running a small, home-based business, developing a strong, positive brand is crucial. A well-crafted brand evokes emotional responses and mental associations. It builds familiarity, trust, and loyalty—qualities that customers look for when deciding where to spend their money.

What’s at the heart of a strong, positive brand? It’s authenticity, consistency, and the ability to make people feel something meaningful about your business. A brand isn’t just about what you offer; it’s about how people perceive and connect with you. That emotional connection is the key to attracting the right customers and building long-term success.

  • Attraction Marketing Lesson #6 – Fall in Love Again

    Fall in Love Again

In his book, Multiple Streams of Internet Income, Robert G. Allen highlights the importance of being “customer-centric” rather than “profit-centric.” A customer-centric approach focuses on building genuine relationships with customers instead of just pushing for sales. Trust is the foundation of a successful, long-lasting business. While one-time sales can feel rewarding at the moment, that satisfaction fades quickly if there are no repeat customers to sustain your revenue.

A customer-centric business owner understands the value of excellent customer service in fostering trust. With trust comes loyalty, and loyalty leads to consistent revenue—proving yet again that the Law of Attraction marketing works.

People don’t choose businesses solely based on price. Buying decisions are often emotional, not purely logical. Customers want to feel appreciated and valued. This is why poor customer service is a common grievance among unhappy consumers. By building trust, you strengthen the bond with your customers, creating relationships that endure over time.

It’s a bit like two people meeting, feeling a spark, and falling in love. While you don’t need your customers to “fall in love” with you, you do want them to fall in love with your business. To achieve this, you first need to attract them and then continually nurture the relationship to make it stronger.

When you prioritize building trust and deepening customer connections, you also set yourself up to generate multiple streams of income. This is because internet marketing, public relations, and customer service all work together seamlessly—like the ultimate marketing powerhouse! (Okay, maybe not “mark-pub-cust-serv,” but you get the idea.)

  • Attraction Marketing Lesson #5 – Create a Vision

    Create a Vision

A single fresh idea can spark extraordinary results. It’s true! When fueled by passion, as we discussed earlier, an idea becomes an opportunity too valuable to ignore. Take the first personal computer, the Apple I, as an example. Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs built it in a garage. Do you think they were fixated on making money during those six months of creating their prototype? According to their own reflections over the years, they weren’t.

Their focus was on a bigger vision—bringing computing power into people’s homes. They imagined a world where technology was accessible to everyday people. That vision was their driving force; the computer was simply the vehicle to achieve it.

As history shows, Wozniak and Jobs went on to become multimillionaires. Their success didn’t come from chasing money; it came from pursuing their passion and staying true to their vision. These two college dropouts are proof that a clear, focused mindset can lead to groundbreaking innovations. Their belief in what they were doing, paired with their determination to succeed, reshaped the way the world interacts with technology.

In the Law of Attraction marketing, having a vision acts like a magnet, drawing in the resources and people needed to achieve success. A clear, compelling vision earns admiration and trust. Visionaries are society’s leaders—the innovators and trailblazers who focus not on what has been, but on what could be.

When promoting your internet business, you must communicate that vision effectively. Customers gravitate toward leaders and winners who inspire them. Brian Biro, a renowned speaker on leadership and transformation, uses a term that perfectly captures the mindset of a visionary: possibility thinking. It’s about maintaining a positive outlook and staying excited about the future—a powerful approach to attracting success.

  • Attraction Marketing Lesson #4 – Have a Purpose and a Passion

Have a Purpose and a Passion

You might be surprised to learn how many people start online businesses they don’t actually care about. Many get swept up in the allure of flashy promises—the “make a million dollars overnight” sales pitches that network marketing companies are famous for. To be clear, network marketing can be a legitimate business strategy, so this isn’t a critique of it. The real issue is that success often hinges on passion—genuine enthusiasm for your product and your business.

Take, for example, a woman who decided to start an online business. She wasn’t great at cold calling and had no interest in traditional sales. One day, she stumbled upon a popular company recruiting sales associates for an online network marketing program. The pitch seemed irresistible: they’d help her set up the business, connect her with a mentor, teach her marketing, handle product delivery, and more.

What they couldn’t do, however, was find her customers. The products were weight loss and nutritional supplements, and succeeding in the business required a real interest in people—listening to their health concerns, promoting the products, and recruiting others to join her team. The problem? She had no personal connection to the products, had never used them herself, and wasn’t passionate about them. Her motivation was purely financial, and that wasn’t enough to make it work.

  • Attraction Marketing Lesson #3 – The Power of the Law of Attraction

The Power of the Law of Attraction

Before getting too involved in discussing the principles of the Law of Attraction as guides for your business, it’s important to be sure you grasp the power of this force. Psychologists, educators, and scientists have studied the concept of the Law of Attraction and some of their quotes make excellent starting points for understanding its full power.

“When the brain, heart, and emotions comply, then the universe will give you what you want.” (Manish Sinha, Manager at Amensys)

“When the English poet W.C. Henley wrote the prophetic lines, ‘I am the Master of My Fate, I am the Captain of my Soul’, he should have informed us that the reason we are the Masters of our Fate, the Captains of our Souls is that we have the power to control our thoughts. He should have told us that the ether in which this little planet floats…is a form of energy…and is filled with a form of universal power that adapts itself to the nature of the thoughts we hold in our minds; and influences us, in natural ways, to transmute our thoughts into their physical equivalent.” (Napoleon Hill, Think and Grow Rich)

“The resources you need to change anything in your life are within you right now. It’s just that you have a set of neuro-associations that habitually cause you to not fully utilize your capability.” (Anthony Robbins, Awaken the
    Giant Within).

“What you radiate outward in your thoughts, feelings, mental pictures, and words, you attract into your life.” (Catherine Ponder, Dynamic Law of Prosperity).

  • Attraction Marketing Lesson #2 – The Law of Attraction in Action

The Law of Attraction in Action

There’s a pair… Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog! Attraction can create strange bedfellows to paraphrase an old expression. You just never know who is going to love who when it comes right down to it. In the case of Miss Piggy and Kermit, it was love that was rooted in a brilliant marketing campaign designed to attract both children and adults.

It worked too! Both characters became celebrities and to this day both frequently appear on television shows, at award ceremonies, and for charity fundraisers. If you could name a perfect marketing campaign, the joining of these two characters should be at the top of the list.

We can learn a lot from the pig and the frog. Listen to them talk and they believe in themselves. Miss Piggy may come across as a bit arrogant, but she is focused at all times. Kermit may waver in the face of such a strong personality, but in the end, he is always on track and true to himself. As a result, this team of make-believe animals can sell or promote just about anything to anyone. Now consider Billy Mays the television salesman.

He passed away not long ago but not without establishing a remarkable reputation for being able to sell anything to anyone. He was a carnival barker in Atlantic City before earning millions as a simple honest and enthusiastic salesman. When you watched him promote products, you just knew he really believed in what he was selling and what he was saying.

This middle-aged huckster could convince millions of people to buy kitchen tools, car cleaners, or work tools. He could sell men’s or women’s products. He could convince anyone that they needed exactly what he was selling. Even if you didn’t need what he was selling, it was almost impossible to not watch him because he was always so darn enthusiastic and upbeat that he made you happy and hopeful.

  • Attraction Marketing – Lesson #1 – What is it?

Attraction Marketing is a world of buzzwords, isn’t it?

There are so many that someone even wrote a satire on the pretense of modern society and its hype, which has been funneled down into terms like “the big picture,” “game plan,” and even “client-focused.” There are dozens of these terms, and they show up in marketing programs all the time. You can get immune to all the buzzwords and stop paying attention after a while.

The internet seems to have particularly attracted hype and promises. “Make Your First Million in Your First Year!” How Have you read that message or some form of it many times? “Get Rich Right Now!” And what is your reaction?

If you’re like most people your reaction is to click off the website turn down the volume on your television or turn the page in a magazine to get it out of your sight. People today are so much more educated and informed and they know better than to believe wild promises. Why this response? It’s because you don’t believe it. People today are so much more educated and informed and they know better than to believe wild promises of quick riches.

You don’t really believe that you can make your first million dollars within a year so the marketing message comes across as a lie. And who wants to listen to or read lies? Your thoughts and your focus do not remain on the message because your common sense tells you that it’s not possible…at least not for you.
